A Taylors Spindle (or dummy spindle) made from Solid Brass - used for mounting a door knob, to prevent it from rotating. Supplied complete with fixing screws. Popular use would be mount a single door knob to the outside of a front door so it can be simply be used as a pull without it rotating. (Being threaded it will also suit some door knobs with a matching thread NOT suitable for use with our Wooden Door Knobs)
