A heavyweight door knob rose (or backplate) made from solid brass and finished in Antique Satin Brass Unlacquered. This finish being unlacquered, can be polished to brighten it or will simply mellow further. It will form its own character over time depending whether it is handles or not and of course whether you polish it or not.
